Aroma: Bright strawberry, white pepper, Stoney minerality, floral, leather
Taste: Light and youthful red fruits, minerality, earthiness, subtle Pepper and leather
Pairing: So versatile and drinkable by itself with a slight chill, goes with most dishes at home from savory, to spicy, funky, and fresh! Very solid fall wine for sure.
Additional info:
A red blend from the Aosta Valley in the Northwest of Italy near the border of Switzerland to the North and France to the West, this area is a beautiful preserved piece of nature tucked away between the mountains. The winery works with 60 small Co-op farmers tending to 15 total hectares of vines, all hand harvested, and sustainably farmed at an elevation of 380-500 m to make a lovely and light red that has beautiful minerality and earthy notes as well from its rugged terrain and long, slow mountain fruit maturation. Give this baby a chill and you’ll be hooked!
